I am a Diploma Certified Beauty Therapist with over 15 successful years of experience in the beauty industry. I have worked in some of Brisbane's award winning salons and have received constant training in a broad range of treatments, using a varied selection of skin care ranges. I am absolutely passionate, professional and dedicated to what I do. My aim is to offer ladies beauty and spa treatments in the comfort of their own chosen environment. Last night, one of my clients, who’s been part of the Kalós Skin community for over a year messaged me to reschedule her appointment this Saturday.
With the weather looking a little unpredictable and her area being prone to flooding, she shared that from past experience she may not be able to get in and out safely. Rather than spending the rest of her week worrying about whether she might have to cancel at the last minute, she chose to reschedule early so I’d have the best possible chance of filling that appointment.
Moments like this honestly mean so much to me.
I don’t take deposits or upfront payments to book, something that’s actually quite rare in our industry. Many businesses simply can’t operate that way because, unfortunately, the same level of consideration isn’t always returned. The fact that I can operate on trust says everything about the incredible community that’s been built here.
It tells me that you feel seen, supported and valued. In return, you respect my time, my work, and the reality of running a small business. That mutual respect is something I never take for granted.
Life happens and plans change . When notice can be given, it truly makes a difference, and it never goes unnoticed.

After nearly two decades in the skin industry, Kalós was created as a space where clients feel genuinely cared for, never rushed, and always supported in their skin journey.
Kalós is a place to slow down, breathe, and know you’re in experienced hands. My approach focuses on natural ageing, personalised treatment plans, and advanced skin treatments such as collagen induction and LED, delivered with warmth, integrity, and intention.
As we move into 2026, my focus is on continuing to refine the Kalós experience by supporting long-term skin health, creating realistic treatment plans, and welcoming both new and existing clients who value care that feels considered and results that feel real.

Honestly, a more deserving winner does not exist. Amanda and I have been on such a big skin journey together over the past year, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means to me that she has trusted me with her skin. Watching her results, her confidence, and her consistency has been such a joy.
And because she is just that person… when I told her she’d won and asked if she could pop in for a photo, she arrived dressed as Mrs Claus, with perfect hair and makeup, absolutely nailing the brief 😂❤️ Truly iconic behaviour.

This morning, at the end of a client’s facial, we went to rebook her next appointment — ideally on a Saturday.

That’s when I realised my next available Saturday isn’t until 21st February.

If Saturdays or late Wednesday evenings are your preferred times, that means the next available option is already around nine weeks away.

I know that can feel disappointing. You go to book, see how far away the appointment is… and often, that’s where the booking stops.
But here’s the reality: if you don’t book that appointment when you see it, the next time you look, it will be even further away.
That’s how appointments slip out of reach — not because you didn’t want one, but because you didn’t secure the first available one while it was there.

So if Saturdays or late evenings work best for you, this is your reminder to book the first available appointment you can see now.
From there, book your appointments forward for the rest of 2026 at the intervals you know work for you — four, eight, ten, or twelve weeks — so you’re not disappointed each time you go to book.

Consistency is the only way to get the results you want with your skin, and the only way to secure the appointment times you want.
The most common thing I hear is that I’m “hard to get an appointment with” — but the truth is, you’re in control of that by pre-booking.

Book once, book ahead, and remove the stress.
Future you will be very glad you did 🌸🩷

I listen to skincare recommendations too!

Lately so many of you have been telling me how much you’ve been loving the Juliette Armand toner. I’ve had people mention how hydrating it feels, how refreshed their skin feels after cleansing, and how it’s become a really easy step to stick to.

After hearing this over and over, and seeing it become one of my most requested products, I realised I should probably try it for myself and I’m really glad I did!

In the words of my bestie Chelsea “Everybody’s got time to tone” Turns out, she’s right!

What I’ve noticed:
• it restores skin’s pH after cleansing
• it helps serums absorb better
• it just gives that cleaner, fresher, more hydrated finish

It’s a simple little step but it’s genuinely been a nice addition to my routine.
