What started as a search for tools to optimise their own health and state of mind, slowly became a journey to change the lives of many in the Townsville community. Lachlan first heard about Floatation Therapy through a podcast that he listened to “The Joe Rogan Experience”. After hearing Joe Rogan rave about it, they had to experience it for themselves. With their curiosity, they started searching for float centres, made a few trips to Melbourne and Brisbane to experience what floatation therapy had to offer. After many months of research and a few years of planning and developing their centre, they finally opened their doors in January 2017. Float House is located in the quiet suburb of Jensen, at the property of 18 Brisbane Drive. They have a dedicated, newly built building to the right hand side of the property, with car parking available. The Float House experience is one where you will feel welcome and supported to let go and surrender. The space is both serene and luxurious with two of the most advanced and spacious floatation pods on the market today. Emma and Lachlan’s dream is to create the ultimate community hub for health, body, mind and soul. To hold a space of stillness for you to reach a level of relaxation from our over stimulated fast-paced culture. Their mission at the Float House is to help promote an experience each time you come to float, that you leave feeling clearer, more vibrant and free of tension and discomfort. Since January 2017, they’ve seen the difference floating can make in peoples physical and emotional lives. From helping people to enhance peak performance, relieve pain, stress and tension, and radically improve the quality of life for people of all walks of life. Float House brings the countless benefits of floating to the Townsville community and improves peoples lives one float at a time, helping them reconnect to their inner most parts of themselves.
