We were honoured to welcome the Sisters of Mercy to the Good Shepherd Home for a truly special Christmas celebration 🎄 By holding their Christmas party here, two of our residents—who are also Sisters of Mercy—were able to be part of this meaningful occasion. We were delighted to share such a joyful afternoon together in the place our residents call home 💙

Annandale Christian College students created individual Christmas cards and a festive cookie for all the home’s wonderful volunteers. 🍪✨

Today, Jacqui from ACC had the pleasure of presenting Patricia and Sue with theirs — and they were both so appreciative and touched by the students’ thoughtfulness. ❤️

Such a beautiful way to celebrate the spirit of giving this Christmas!

📢 Residents’ Experience Survey – 5 & 6 November 2025

On 5th and 6th November 2025, residents at The Home will have the opportunity to take part in the Residents’ Experience Survey. 💬

This survey is your chance to share feedback on the care you receive and help us understand your experience.

✅ A small number of residents will be randomly selected to participate.
✅ Participation is voluntary – if you’re invited, the survey team will ask for your consent first.
✅ It takes 10–30 minutes to complete.
✅ Your responses are confidential – your name will not be connected to your answers.
✅ No one at your aged care home or within the Australian Government will know if you take part.

We can arrange interpreters or other support if needed, and you’re welcome to have a family member or friend with you during the survey. 💗
