The Women's Health and Research Institute of Australia is currently recruiting participants for a new study relating to vulval pain.

The MiGel study is a clinical trial to investigate the potential effect of a topical medication for the treatment of vulval/vaginal pain with s*xual activity. Participants in the study need to be living in Australia, women aged 30 and over who also;
have experienced pain in or around the vulva/vagina during s*x for at least 3 months,
are currently s*xually active (including with self) or would like to be but can’t because of pain,
have given birth at least once with no severe morning sickness, and
are NOT currently pregnant or breastfeeding, and willing to avoid pregnancy during the study.

We're proud to share an incredible initiative supporting student wellbeing and sustainability - the Eco Period Club, launched by Share the Dignity.

This program provides FREE reusable period products to teens aged 13-19 across Australia, offering teens who register a choice between a menstrual cup, period underwear, or a menstrual disc.

Teens who sign up can also access a safe and supportive online community (via Facebook or email) to share tips, ask questions, and build confidence as they explore reusable options.

Here’s why this program matters:
🗣️️ Peer support and education are powerful - we want young people to feel informed and empowered with resuable period products
🌏 Reusable period products are a win for BOTH the environment and personal health
🩸 68% of teens have struggled to afford period products so we want them to start uni with reusable period products
🏊‍♀️ 72% of teens skipped sport due to their period (58% due to a fear of leaking) and the amazing thing is reusable period products can help avoid leaks!

We encourage schools, educators, and community leaders to share this opportunity with students and families.
