OT sessions DO NOT have to take place in the therapy room. Here we are multi tasking at its finest, walking the dog, getting out of the house/ vitamin D, setting goals and creating a vision for the future.

Today’s art activity:

You will need -
• A photo from childhood
• A clear CD case
• Scissors
• Craft glue
• Permanent markers

1. Cut your photo to fit in the CD case
2. Glue your photo inside of the CD case
3. Trace the outline of the photo on the front cover of the CD case

Ask yourself these questions -
• What is your earliest childhood memory?
• What were you good at as a child/ what were your interests? Have these changed?
• What was your personality like as a child? Has this changed?

For the next eight weeks we are working through a list of our favourite family home cooked meals. This provides us withthe opportunity to share a memory from our childhoods. First up was curry in a hurry, it was delicious!

This week’s art activity: Create a word search!

1) Choose a theme, it could be anything, ‘beach’, ‘animals’, ‘garden’
2) Draw out a grid or print one from online
3) Write down a list of words at the bottom of the page
4) Write the letters for the words into the grid
5) Fill in the rest of the grid with letters
6) Photocopy to share with friends

1) Draw a dragon.
2) Draw your dragon’s treasures. What do you hold on to? What are your most special belongings?
3) Name your dragon. What does this name mean? Does it represent your dragon’s strengths, personality and identity? 🐉
