Hi, my name is Jo Cotterall and I am the Remedial Massage Therapist for Massage Worx Townsville. I offer a different approach to Remedial M

assage Therapy. My technique uses a combination of relaxation, myofascial release, deep tissue methods and trigger point therapies, incorporating light to firm pressure. Offering a gentle and nurturing treatment approach to the body dysfunction presented. I do not believe in causing pain, the old saying "no pain no gain" does not exist in my treatment room. Mild discomfort can be felt when receiving a massage over tender areas, but at no time should you experience pain. For each session I offer a free consultation, this is extra to your massage treatment time; of 15-20 minutes for initial visits and 10 to 15 minutes for follow up sessions. If you book for a 60 minute massage, I provide a full 60 minute massage with consultation and assessment separate to this. Please allow at least 90 minutes for a 60 minute booking, 120 minutes for a 90 minute booking. Therapy sessions are conducted in a private, confidential, and professional treatment room. My treatment room has its own entrance/exit. Private Health Fund rebates are available for clients with “extras” covering Remedial Massage Therapy for all Australian Health insurers, please check with your health fund for eligibility. In clinic claiming available. Payment methods accepted:
