Gothic Poetry 🦇
Sacrifice

As I peer through the opening of the
veil, I see child like
angels giggling
through the bells
of the cathedral walls.

Stainglass windows
and
shimmering sunlight.

Fallen angels and fated
heartfelt connections.

A soul tie and karmic lesson,
A place of forbidden love.

Walls close in, and a long
passageway reaches down,
to greet the underworld.

Where shadows start to awaken.

This is a right of passage,
an initiation that must take place.
A self-sacrifice.

Possession for the heart
and soul.
Or will she run
and choose herself.

Will she return,
upon the stars,
that wait for her arrival.

Remembering who she is 🌸……

As the heaviness of the winter cloak starts to melt away, and the sun grows warmer in the springtime fields 🌞.

The flowers start to re-open, each petal unfolding into full bloom. She remembers her sweet essence, her vibrant colours & magnetic pull. Her essence allures bees 🐝 and birds to drink from her nectar.
As the re-birth begins, it opens up to an awakening of remembering who she really is…. full of strength, and vibrant magic.

Just like the heaviness of a winter’s cloak, her shadows hung like cold ice ornaments, dancing around patterns that don’t serve her. Roles assigned to her, by someone else script, one she never asked for.

As the springtime sun warms up, it melts away the cold ornaments, once hung like trophies, the shadows start to unravel.
The awakening and re-birth begins, just like the flower re-opening. She comes back to remembering who she is.

Full of strength and magic, she rises up to face the sun in all her beauty, in all her full glory 🌸
