Finally got my hands on new flavour protein puddings 🤎

Honestly… they’re really good 🙌

I was most excited for the choc hazelnut — and while it is nice, it’s quite similar to the Dutch chocolate (which is still my overall favourite). I just wish it had a stronger hazelnut flavour to really make it stand out.

Out of the new ones though, the salted caramel is definitely the winner 👏
So good, and I’d happily grab any of these again for an easy, high-protein snack.

Rokeby has officially become my go-to for protein puddings, so I’m very happy to have a few more flavours to rotate through 🙌

I used San Choy Bow meal kit for dinner tonight and it was such an easy win 🙌

Comes with vermicelli noodles, sauce, water chestnuts and peanuts — all you need to do is add your mince of choice and whatever fresh toppings you like.

I added spring onion and coriander for extra flavour and freshness 🌿
Served it in lettuce cups for that fresh crunch 🥬

Coeliac Awareness Week is personal for me.

10 years ago I went to the doctor for a routine check-up before trying to fall pregnant. My blood results came back abnormal — low iron and abnormal liver levels.

Instead of answers, I was told it must be because I was drinking too much alcohol. When I explained that I barely drink at all, I was then told it must be because I was clinically “obese”.

But neither of those were the reason.

Five years later (and 30kg lighter), with the help of a much more supportive doctor who was determined to keep investigating, I was finally diagnosed with coeliac disease.

The reason it went undetected for so long is because my symptoms didn’t look like what many people expect. I didn’t have the typical gut symptoms.

Even now, being strictly gluten free has helped repair the damage gluten caused to my intestines, but it hasn’t solved everything. I still live with ongoing health issues and days where the fatigue is overwhelming.

Coeliac disease doesn’t always look the way people expect and it affects everyone very differently.

Awareness helps people get diagnosed sooner.
