REVE 360 - SCHOOL HOLIDAYS - 🌞🎉 Reve360’s Summer School Holiday Program is back! 🎉🌞
(September – October 2025 | Ages 7+)

Our program is designed to create positive outcomes for young people through fun, inclusive, and engaging experiences. Each day focuses on building skills that align with NDIS goals:

✨ Social Connection – making friends, learning teamwork, and engaging in group activities.
✨ Positive Behaviour Support – providing structured, supportive environments that encourage emotional regulation and confidence.
✨ Community Participation – exploring Townsville and surrounds through exciting trips and activities.
✨ Skill Development – from arts & crafts to sports and cultural activities, children build independence and creativity.

💦 Activities include water fun, movies & bowling, BBQs, arts & crafts, mini golf, cultural excursions, and even a Magnetic Island Day Trip with Koala Park!

✨ Community Participation – exploring Townsville and its surrounds through exciting trips and activities.
Week 1: Mon 22nd – Fri 26th September
Week 2: Mon 29th September – Fri 3rd October

⏰ Times:
Week 1: 9am – 4pm (Thu 10am – 3pm)
Week 2: 10am – 3pm

📍 Where: Across Townsville & surrounds (see flyers)

ℹ️ What’s Included:
Set educators supporting participants across the 2-week program
Pick-up & drop-off available (9–10am / 3–4pm)

At Compassionate Connections Co., we see firsthand the life-changing impact that therapy and support services have for families living with disability.

The recent news about NDIS cuts to allied health rates is deeply concerning. These changes don’t just affect funding—they threaten access to vital therapy services that children, families, and individuals depend on every single day.

Families are not “inconvenient dollar figures.” They are people who deserve dignity, opportunity, and support to thrive.

We stand with our community, our clients, and every family impacted. Together, we must ensure that the voices of people with disability are heard and valued in every decision made.

🚨 NDIS Update – Minister Butler’s

I won’t lie – when I first read the headline “Children with autism moved off NDIS with $2 billion overhaul”, a part of me froze and I was in disbelief. Like many in this sector, my first thought was about the families and participants who might be impacted.

However, after reading more into Minister Butler’s speech, I’ve broken it down to the key points below:

- Launch of a $2 billion “Thriving Kids” program to provide early intervention supports for children with mild to moderate developmental delays or autism, delivered outside the NDIS.

- Staged rollout beginning July 2026, with full implementation by mid-2027.

- A renewed focus on returning the NDIS to its original purpose: supporting Australians with significant and permanent disability.

- Additional reforms aimed at slowing scheme growth, strengthening fraud prevention, and improving access to mainstream supports like schools and health providers.

I’ll keep sharing updates as more details come out.

We recently worked alongside a 30-year-old man and his family to create three customised roles — including an IT Tutor, a Job Coach, and an Assistant Soccer Coach. None of these are your typical “support worker” roles. They are tailored positions designed around his life, goals, and vision.

Your personal trainer doesn’t do your taxes, and your accountant doesn’t help you get fit. So why expect one generic “support worker” to do it all? The right roles, in the right way, create the most meaningful outcomes.
