This is a reminder of our closure periods over the festive season.
We will be closed from Thursday 25th December through to and including Sunday 28th December.
We will also be closed from Thursday 1st January through to and including Sunday 4th of January.

Please take the time to ensure you have all scripts and referrals required before this period as appointments during this time will be limited and prioritised for those that are acutely unwell.

The leadership team at TSMP are committed to working on the practice and continual improvement to ensure we are here for another 60 years to come.

To give everyone plenty of notice to plan for the upcoming festive season we wanted to share our Christmas period trading hours early.
We will open for normal trade Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th of December from 8:30am - 5:30pm with appointment availability for acute needs.
The practice will then be closed from Thursday 25th through to Sunday 28th of December.
The practice will reopen on Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st of December from 8:30am - 5:30pm with appointments available for acute needs.
The practice will then be closed from Thursday 1st January 2026 - Sunday 4th, reopening for normal trade from Monday 05/01/2026 at 8:30am.
For care outside of our normal hours you can call Hello Home Doctor Service on 134 100.

Today the TSMP team came together to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast (we turned it into morning tea) with everyone contributing a plate to share. Some baked sweets, some savoury and others visiting their favourite bakery. Although, it was all so yummy we forgot to take a photo!
Our nurses led the spirit in their pink scrubs while the rest of our team have worn their pink ribbon’s today 🎀

It was a big weekend of community events for the TSMP team. On Saturday Dr Kirryn Jensen and Business Manager Karlea attended the Silver Lining Long Lunch in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) hosted by Dr Sally Aubrey, Townsville Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Rhiannon Anderson at The Metropole Townsville.
It was a day of tears, real stories and fundraising for this very worthy cause.
With no current early detection or screening test available this awful disease is often diagnosed at stage 4. Much more funding and research is required to ensure we can change the statistics of this awful
Disease.
