That means if you're part of the NDIS and have funding, we can provide you support. It also means that SILS as a registered provider meets the NDIS Practice Standards, and follows the NDIS Code of Conduct. Giving you confidence that you're going to receive safe, high-quality care.

🤝Last week Meg attended the Townsville Disability Network Expo held at Willows Shopping Centre. It was a wonderful turn out with 70+ exhibitors and lots of opportunity for the community to connect and find out information!

It was a good opportunity for us to chat to the other providers and see how we can work together. Thanks to TDN for organising this great event and we look forward to next year. 🌟

The training package includes three short courses. Learn about positive behaviour support, human rights and trauma informed support. Meg and Ginnie from SILS recently attended a Positive Behaviour Support Insights & Resilience workshop on supporting clients when implementing a Positive Behaviour Support Plan. 🌟

Held at the Stuart Business Centre in the CBD and presented by Tiarah Hunkin from Ability Action Australia the workshop provided valuable insights into best practices as well as the process involved in applying for a new Positive Behaviour Plan.

📅Reminder! NDIS workers in risk-assessed roles must renew their NDIS Worker Screening Check every 5 years. As the NDIS Worker Screening Check was first introduced on 1 February 2021, some workers’ checks will start to expire from 1 February 2026.
