Another interesting fact for your Monday! Speech and language go hand in hand! ✋🧩

For example, if a child is dropping end sounds in words (like saying “ca” instead of “cat”), they might also be missing important grammar markers like -s for plurals (e.g. toes) and -ed for past tense (e.g. jumped)

Speech difficulties can affect how kids build sentences, tell stories, and share ideas too! 💜

💜 ELLA
Miss Ella learned the ropes of the front desk quickly when she came on board at TalkHQ in 2024. She goes between the front desk and the therapy room, dabbling in Support Services and Allied Health Assistant roles. Her favourite time of the year is Halloween (better known at TalkHQ as Ellaween!), and she loves popping into the Townsville clinic when she's home on uni break to see her family. Whether it’s harmless scares or sneaky surprises, her playful sense of humour keeps the Keperra clinic on their toes!
