Meet the Team | LEE ANDERSON | Care Coordinator

Lee Anderson brings a kind, patient and happy presence to the team, shaped by her roots in NSW and her early work in Community Aged Care while living in Tasmania. After moving to Charters Towers in 2023, she has continued to find purpose and joy in caring for older Australians, building strong connections with the clients she supports.

Lee joined Right at Home as a Home Care Worker in mid 2024 and in February 2026 stepped into the role of Care Coordinator in her adopted home of Charters Towers.
Moving into the office has strengthened her commitment to high‑quality client care, giving her the opportunity to advocate for clients, problem‑solve, and ensure services run smoothly behind the scenes. Her warm approach, steady professionalism and genuine love for helping others shine through in everything she does.

Outside of work, Lee dreams of travelling the world, experiencing new cultures and seeing more of what life has to offer.

🌸 International Women’s Day 🌸

Today, we honour and celebrate the strength and resilience of women everywhere.

At Right at Home, we see the impact of women every single day, the mothers and grandmothers who raised families and built communities,

the daughters balancing careers while caring for ageing parents, the nurses and caregivers who bring empathy, compassion and dedication into every home they visit.

Thank you for all that you do. We celebrate with you.

A small check-in can mean more than you realise.

It doesn’t have to be a big conversation.

Sometimes it’s just:
A quick call.
A cup of tea together.
A simple “How are you going, really?”

For many older loved ones, that small moment of connection can make a big difference — especially if they’re quietly managing more than they say.

Today’s reminder: reach out. 💛

If you’ve been referred for an allied health assessment at home, it’s natural to wonder what will actually happen.

Will it feel formal?
Is it a test?
Will changes be forced?

The answer is no.

An allied health assessment is simply a conversation and observation — designed to understand how you’re managing at home and what might help you stay safe, confident and independent.

We explain exactly what to expect in our latest blog.
