World OT Day: 27 October

OT Week is the annual celebration of the extraordinary impact occupational therapists make every day. This year’s theme, Occupational Therapy in Action, invites us to highlight the creativity, problem-solving, and compassion at the heart of OT practice.

Every day this week, we will be posting some information about our Occupational Therapist here at Minding Family – Kerry Abbott!

We are incredibly grateful to work alongside Kerry here to provide the best multidisciplinary practice for our clients!

Let's celebrate the many strengths of ADHD!

With the right supports in place, ADHD children and adults can harness their unique strengths, such as:
- creativity
- hyperfocus
- energy
- curiosity
- empathy.

We acknowledge that ADHD brings many challenges. With or without a diagnosis, ADHDers learn from a young age to be self-aware, hardworking and resilient.

This invaluable life experience and different way of thinking can be a true strength!
