We’re thrilled to welcome Nathan Soong to the team at North Queensland Sports Academy (NQSA)! Nathan brings a dedicated approach to athletic training that aligns perfectly with our mission to help youth and adult athletes thrive.
Nathan specialises in coaching youth and adult athletes, combining sports science, individual testing and attentive coaching that listens to the athlete’s needs.
His style emphasises a foundation of movement quality and strength before adding load and is aligned with our core approach: safe progression, continual improvement and creating an environment where athletes can feel supported AND challenged.

For youth athletes: Nathan’s experience in youth strength and conditioning means he’ll help build speed, power, agility, coordination—and do so in a way that’s developmentally appropriate.
