Townsville Occupational Therapy Service

We are a family centred practice that offers occupational therapy in the clinic, home, childcare or school.

Occupational therapists help children learn and develop skills to be able to engage, participate and achieve in everyday activities. Occupational therapists can help improve the following skills:
• Daily living skills: toileting, dressing, eating (including fussiness), cooking, cleaning and shopping
• Motor skills- fine motor, gross motor and motor planning
• Play skills: expanding and building on current play, imaginative play and playing with others
• School skills: handwriting, drawing, scissors
• Learning skills: attention/concentration, memory, problem solving, sequencing
• Social skills: making friends, navigating and understanding the social world
• Emotional management: learning how to handle emotions
• Sensory skills: under or over reaction to sensory input

TWFC are thrilled to announce that we have received the prestigious Junior Club Championship for the fourth consecutive year! 🏆🎉

Our players have done an outstanding job throughout the year, especially during the finals series, showing incredible dedication, talent, and team spirit.

This award is not only a testament to our players' efforts, but also to the commitment and hard work of our coaches, managers, and volunteers. Without their tireless support, this achievement would not have been possible.
