"What actually happens during an OT session with my child?"

Our TRC clinic can look like playrooms - you’ll usually see sensory tools, activity tables, swings, and climbing equipment. But behind the fun, every activity has a purpose and supports your child’s development.

Each session is different. Based on the family's goals, the child strengths ,and how they're feeling on the day - the sessions may include:
✨ Using sensory equipment to explore and regulate their bodies
✨ Strengthening coordination and motor skills through movement and play
✨ Working on handwriting or other fine motor activities
✨ Practising ways to manage big emotions
✨ Building independence with everyday routines

Our therapy sessions focus on supporting areas like emotional regulation, school readiness, confidence and independence. Parents are also an important part of the process, receiving guidance and strategies to help continue progress at home.
