Dyscover created by Dystech is an Australian-made platform that assesses fluency, accuracy, and the likelihood of dyslexia. Using Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, Dyscover combines 2 hours’ worth of traditional reading assessment into an easy-to-administer, 5-minute test that provides educators with immediate and objective results at scale.
Dyscover has introduced the concept of dynamic norming, which is a world first at this scale and means that every Dyscover assessment directly improves the norms and accuracy of
the platform for every other user. Their dynamic norms utilise voice recognition technology, requiring only a device with a microphone and internet access to complete an assessment.
Dyscover provides user friendly information in a clear format for instant visual progression impact to allow for easier interpretation and explanation. The assessment reports identify gaps for a differentiated and specialised intervention approach to enhance student engagement and achievement.
Their seamless sharing allows for a collaborative approach to data between specialists, schools and families, allowing you to print, email or share student data for moderation in planning sessions and meetings. Running a 5-minute Dyscover assessment every four
weeks, either in person or remotely, provides you with a quick update of student progress, giving you confidence that the data you have is the most accurate and up to date.
