Last year, staff at think.grow.connect attended a chair yoga session run by staff member/child counsellor, Maria Marino. This was super beneficial to the team as most of our day consists of being sat at a desk which tends to be quite harsh on the body.

We thought that this could also benefit someone else’s everyday life who is also sat behind a desk, so Maria has kindly created an easy diagram in case you’d like to save this image and try some gentle stretching at your desk!

As well as counselling children at think.grow.connect, Maria is a level 1 yoga teacher and runs occasional yoga sessions around Gippsland (with focus on gentle yoga to connect to the body). If you’d like to try yoga or you’d like to learn more, find her on social media:
