YES - I needed to change my mind shift - always learning"
After years in the corporate world, I thought I had seen it all.
✅ Negotiating with CEOs
✅ Managing multi-million-dollar contracts
✅ Guiding homeowners and buyers through big decisions
But nothing quite prepared me for the shift into the disability sector.
Running a business here is completely different. It’s not about contracts or boardroom debates—it’s about people, journeys, and making a genuine difference in someone’s life. And honestly… that’s where my true passion lies.
The biggest adjustments I’ve had to make:
📍 Trading the corporate “numbers-first” mindset for a “people-first” one
📍 Realising that repeating myself (sometimes 3+ times!) is part of the process… and learning patience along the way 😅
📍 Balancing being direct when needed with the care and compassion that this sector deserves
It hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge reminds me why I made the change. Because at the end of the day, impact beats profit.
