Jennifer is a registered counsellor and psychotherapist who specialises in working with adolescents and adults. She has six years’ experience working in the community welfare sector, spanning across the justice system, sexual and relationship health, homelessness, and working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Jennifer specialises in working with people who have experienced trauma, abuse/domestic violence, problematic mental health issues, suicidal ideation and self-harm, and drug and alcohol issues. She has in-depth knowledge and skills in working with both young people and adults who have been involved in the justice system and in Out-Of-Home-Care. Approaching her work from a person-centred and trauma-informed basis and exploring the therapeutic relationship in a warm and empathetic manner, Jennifer is especially passionate about providing a safe space for you to work on areas in your life that you may be struggling with. Jennifer is qualified and experienced in delivering a range of therapeutic options including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Life Coaching, and Mindfulness.
