Ozability Support Services seeking an exceptional Disability Support Worker to support NDIS participants with mental health needs and complex behaviours. This role is for someone who is calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and genuinely committed to person-centred, trauma-informed support.

Support may include:
• Building routines and daily living skills
• Emotional regulation and de-escalation
• Community access and social engagement
• Implementing behaviour support strategies
• Promoting independence, dignity, and choice
• Clear documentation and professional communication

🧠 Essential Experience & Requirements
• Cert III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience supporting mental health and/or complex needs
• Knowledge of Behaviour Support Plans and restrictive practices
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working With Children Check
• First Aid & CPR
• Driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism, reliability, and ethical practice are non-negotiable

Ozability Support Services is seeking an experienced HR & Compliance Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis.
Disability & Community Services | SCHADS Award Level 6
This role is suited to a senior HR/compliance professional who can work independently, provide confident advice, and ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, the SCHADS Award, and NDIS Practice Standards in a disability services environment.

About the Role
This is a part-time position (hours negotiable), reporting to senior management.
You will be responsible for:
• Workforce compliance and industrial relations
• HR governance, policies, and procedures
• NDIS compliance and audit readiness
• Risk management, investigations, and incident oversight
• Payroll Management
This role requires strong judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision.

About You
You are an experienced HR/compliance professional who:
• Has strong working knowledge of the SCHADS Award
• Understands the interaction between Fair Work and NDIS requirements
• Is confident managing sensitive, high-risk matters
• Can prioritise workload effectively in a part-time role
• Communicates clearly, calmly, and professionally
• Is values-driven and committed to participant safety

• Proven experience in HR, Compliance, or Industrial Relations
• Demonstrated knowledge of:
o Fair Work Act & NES
o SCHADS Award 2010
o NDIS Practice Standards
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance systems
• Strong written documentation and advisory skills
• Proven Payroll experience

Qualifications (Desirable)
• Qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business, Governance, or Compliance
• Experience in disability, mental health, or community services (highly regarded)

This February, a team of 5 Pathhaven Disability Care staff are taking on a challenge, completing a combined 25km every single day for the month of February!
We’re raising funds for Got Your Back Sista, a Newcastle-based charity supporting women and children escaping domestic violence by providing safe housing, essential items and pathways to rebuild their lives.

This February, a team of 5 Pathhaven Disability Care staff are taking on a challenge, completing a combined 25km every single day for the month of February!

We’re raising funds for Got Your Back Sista, a Newcastle-based charity supporting women and children escaping domestic violence by providing safe housing, essential items and pathways to rebuild their lives.
