Silica is an excellent tissue salt for chronic suppurations and ulcerations, glandular swellings and uterine disorders. It acts more prominently upon bones, joints, glands, skin and mucous surface. Its action is deep and long lasting. It is also found in connective tissues, especially embryonic and the nerve-fibres.
