Today staff and residents came together to celebrate the incredible milestone and birthday of our most senior resident Marjorie in our apartments.
Here is a little about the things Marj has lived through and seen in her lifetime to date!

When Marjorie was born…
🕰️ The World Looked Very Different
Australia had no TV, no mobile phones, no internet
Most homes didn’t have fridges or washing machines
News came from newspapers and radio
Cars were rare, and many roads were still dirt
Life expectancy for women was around 60 years – Marjorie has lived 44 years beyond that
