Last day in the clinic yesterday!!!
Thank you for having walked this journey with me!
To all of my nearest and dearest, you know who you are your support has been what has held me up and kept me going I love you all endlessly.
I keep getting asked what next!!!!!!!
Well for me that is to breathe, take some time to refresh and focus on making sure that what I give out comes from an overflowing cup rather than the empty one of late. I’m proud of what was but excited for what’s ahead.

The Village Tumut will look different as we head further into 2023.

While I have poured all I had into creating my big dream of collaborative and wholistic health and wellbeing, after much deliberation and consideration and many tears I have decided that from the end of February I will hand over the space to the very supportive Hansie Armour and the clinicians that wish to continue to operate from this space.

I am very proud of what I alongside my team have achieved and created with our collective vision for better outcomes for our community, however I have learned that we cannot be all things to all people nor can we fill all the gaps in the broken systems.
What we can do is to take care of ourselves so that we can better take care of each other.

I am so full of gratitude to the people who supported me and my team’s collective vision and I will hold tight to the positive outcomes we were able to achieve.

Village Midwifery will continue to operate in a mobile capacity for those families who are wanting to reach out for that personalised professional care during there pregnancy and postpartum journey.

The Men's table is a national not-for-profit organisation with a format that creates a sense of belonging and camaraderie, that is lacking for many men in Australia, even for some who already have a group of mates.

Whilst there are a couple of 'tables' in Tumba, Albury, Upper Murray and Canberra, there is a new one which will start at Tumut River Brewing Company on the 16th of November - it is a taster to what the initiative provides and to give men the opportunity to see whether it is something for them.

The groups are normally no bigger than 14 men plus a host and as the name suggests, the November 'Entrée' is an introduction to the group.
