Valmar Support Services is a Not-For-Profit Organisation which thrives to providing high quality support services to people with disabilities, aged care services, community transport and supported employment.

A permanent full-time vacancy exists for a motivated Coordinator with Valmar’s Lifestyle Connections working across Tumut, Yass and Canberra. This position provides a rewarding and challenging career move for suitably qualified and experienced applicants.

Essential:
- Must hold a minimum Certificate IV in a related field or other relevant industry qualifications
- Ability to undertake complex problem resolution in relation to staff and program delivery.
- Possess high level written and spoken communication skills and well developed computer skills.
- Demonstrated skills and training in behavior management.
- Have proven staff management and demonstrated financial management skills.
- Have a positive commitment to improving the life options for people with disabilities including community engagement.
- Have well developed computer skills in word, excel, internet & electronic mail
- Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence
- Hold a First Aid Certificate
- Have or willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check

Vacancies exist for Casual Disability Support Worker with Valmar’s Lifestyle & Community Connections in Tumut.

Support Workers will be asked to provide a range of services that can include domestic assistance, personal care, community and social activities as well as general support to our clients in their everyday living.

Successful applicants must be willing to undertake an NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check and hold an Australian Drivers Licence. It is desirable that you have a current First Aid Certificate and hold or willing to undertake training towards a Certificate III or IV in Disability Services.

A permanent full-time vacancy exists with our Valmar’s Pinecom Business Services operations. The successful applicant would be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Organics Composting Facility at the Gilmore Waste & Recycling Centre.

We are looking for a motivated, customer focused, and enthusiastic person to join our team and who can make a positive difference to people with a disability.

If you have great customer service skills; strong communication and problem-solving skills; a current driver's licence and a genuine interest in rural agriculture, permaculture and/or organic gardening, we would like to hear from you.
