Today we join all Australians in observing National Reflection Day, a moment to come together with compassion and quiet respect for all those affected by the tragic events at Bondi Beach earlier this month. On this day of national reflection we honour the lives lost, offer our thoughts to those grieving and support one another as a community.

As part of this day, Australians are invited to light a candle at 6:47pm and observe a minute of silence.

Moments like this can stir emotions and be difficult for some people. If you or someone you care about needs support, help is available locally and beyond:
