Study, study, study… and levelled up once again.
I’ve just completed my Expert Neoclassical Acupuncturist training, and I’ve been using this gentle and precise style all week in clinic. The shifts I’m seeing in clients are truly transformative.

I’ve been practising acupuncture since 2009, and just like true love, my understanding and confidence have only grown since the very first time I picked up a needle.

If you’ve been curious to try acupuncture, or you’ve been feeling stuck and need a fresh, targeted approach, I’d love to support you. Bookings are open. Link in Bio or at woodlandsacupuncture.com.au

Each year we donate to Share the Dignity as part of giving back to the women and families in our community. This year my youngest child and I dropped the bags for the annual “Dignity Drives” in Launceston. Supporting community is part of how I practise healthcare.

Today I’m in Whitemark, working from two private rooms and treating the Flinders Island community. Rural practice is one of my favourite parts of this job! Real conversations, slower pace, and people who value holistic care.

I work between Flinders Island and Turners Marsh each week and often see clients travelling from all corners of northern Tasmania, Bridport, Launceston, Burnie, Branxholm and beyond. Feeling very grateful for this work and the communities that trust me.

Yue Ju Wan
A classical combination of:
• Cang Zhu
• Chuan Xiong
• Xiang Fu
• Zhi Zi
• Shen Qu

These herbs are traditionally used in Chinese herbal medicine to:
• Support the smooth flow of Qi and circulation
• Harmonise the digestive system
• Nourish overall balance and wellbeing

Each herb plays a different role, working together like a small team to gently encourage movement and release patterns of stagnation in the body.

In clinic, formulas are selected after a full consultation and are always tailored to your individual pattern.
There’s no “one size fits all” in Chinese medicine every presentation tells a story, and treatment is matched to you, not just your symptoms.

“Between clients, you’ll usually find me tidying up, preparing notes, or studying. Sometimes though, I just let my eyes rest for a moment, admire a friend’s inspiring work, and enjoy a quiet pause before the next session.” # tcm

Hot flushes, sleep changes, shifting energy levels, or changes in mood and physical wellbeing are all part of the natural transitions women may experience in perimenopause and menopause. Some people choose acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at this time as part of their overall approach to supporting wellbeing.

In Chinese medicine, treatment is personalised to meet your needs on the day.
