Ahhh that glorious feeling when the parcel arrives. I’m restocking some of the formulas I use in clinic during this time of year, including CNF Relief and Xiao Chai Hu Tang.

In Chinese medicine, this season is all about supporting the body through change and maintaining balance.

If you need to order herbs or want support, feel free to reach out. All prescriptions are tailored to the individual.

In clinic, I often see people who don’t realise how much stress they’re carrying until their body starts speaking up.

In Chinese medicine, stress can disrupt the smooth flow of Qi (energy), which may show up as things like:

• tension and headaches

• restless sleep

• digestive changes

• irritability or feeling overwhelmed

Your body isn’t working against you, it’s trying to get your attention.

Acupuncture is one way to support the body’s natural ability to regulate and restore balance. Many people find it helps them feel calmer, sleep better, and cope more easily with daily pressures. Book your appointment today and see for yourself.

After more than 20 years in practice, I still find myself back in the classroom.”

Last weekend I travelled to Burleigh Heads to attend my second Neoclassical Acupuncture Masterclass. It’s always inspiring to spend time learning, refining techniques and deepening my understanding of this classical approach to acupuncture. Continuing education is an important part of being a practitioner. Even after 13 years as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, I believe there is always more to learn.

Training like this helps me continue developing my clinical skills so I can offer thoughtful, individualised care to the people who trust me with their health. If you’ve been curious about acupuncture, or are looking for another way to support your health and wellbeing, you’re welcome to book a consultation.

Today I’m sharing the new look of Woodlands Acupuncture + Herbal Health.

Over the past year I’ve spent time reflecting on the practitioner I’ve grown into and the way I now work with patients.

After many years in practice, my focus has become clearer. Much of my work centres around supporting women navigating stress, anxiety, sleep disruption and the many transitions that come with midlife and beyond.

The refreshed brand reflects this stage of life more confident, more refined and aligned with the calm, thoughtful space I have to created in the clinic.

While the visual identity has changed, the foundations of my work remain the same.

Careful listening.
Detailed assessment.
Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and practical lifestyle guidance tailored to the individual.

It is a privilege to support so many women with their health and wellbeing, and I’m grateful to continue that work under this new chapter.

If you’ve been thinking about prioritising your health, you are always welcome to book an appointment when the time feels right for you.
