Calling all perinatal professionals………. Join Carla, Charise and Bronwyn for this free, online Webinar exploring ways to effectively approach therapy in the context of Perinatal Loss.
Our training program uniquely knits together four dominant paradigms of practice:
* Grief theory and therapy
* Trauma and traumatic bereavement
* Attachment theory and therapy
* Developmental psychology
In this Webinar, we will briefly present the frames of practice that inform our approach to effective, evidence-based, clinically-informed perinatal loss therapy. Our training program content and delivery will be highlighted.
There will be time to ask your questions about working with perinatal loss in a therapeutic setting and about our training program.

Huge shout out to the Sydney Adventist Hospital for inviting me to speak this morning at their ‘Obstetric Emergency’ seminar. I was lucky enough to speak about all things Perinatal mental health with a particular focus on the recognition and treatment of postpartum psychosis. Another inspiring morning with some Year 11 Barker students exploring their superpowers and areas to work on as they consider a career in Psychology! Absolutely loved their vulnerability and ability to engage with the material to self reflect and foster their growth. My favorite quote from this morning was from one group member who said “ you just need to learn how to be embarrassed”. This is so important, because there are often times where we feel embarrassed or uncomfortable for many different reasons, and if we can grow the skill of leaning into this feeling and giving permission for it, we can choose how to respond rather than our feelings dictating our response. Can’t wait for our next mentor session!
