Today we had our very first Auslan learning session with the wonderful Marie 🤟✨ One of our SIL participants is profoundly deaf, so our team — along with her fellow housemate — joined in to learn together. It was such a special experience and a reminder of how important it is to meet our clients where they are, communicate meaningfully, and build genuine rapport. Today we say goodbye to our Support Coordinator, Rod, as he steps into a well-earned retirement after many years of dedicated service. Rod has spent countless hours advocating for people with disabilities, supporting families through challenges, and making a genuine difference in the lives of so many. His compassion, commitment, and calm approach have shaped the way we work and the way we care. While we’ll miss him greatly, we’re incredibly grateful for everything he has given and we wish him all the joy and relaxation he deserves in this next chapter.

We had the honour of hosting an afternoon art show celebrating the incredible creativity of our Project Make Lemonade clients. It was such a special event filled with new friendships, shared appreciation, and so much heart.
A huge thank you to Kellie from Studio 8 for being so accommodating and for providing such a beautiful space.
To our artists — thank you for your vulnerability and courage in sharing your work. To our amazing support workers — thank you for supporting your clients tonight.

Congratulations to some of our incredible Managers and Coordinators at Laydigo! 🌟

Did you know that Project Make Lemonade has sister companies — Quirky and The Family Sanctuary? This past week, some of our amazing leaders from Bundaberg, Brisbane, Townsville, and Tweed came together for a fantastic opportunity to connect and grow through the MAYBO Train the Trainer program. 💪✨

A massive shoutout to our awesome trainer Joel for making the experience engaging, insightful, and fun for everyone. After 8 days of learning, our team are officially Train the Trainers!

We can’t wait to share what we’ve learned with our support workers and continue building safer, stronger, and more supportive environments together.

Chantra and Inica the horse share such a special bond — a beautiful reminder of how powerful the connection between humans and animals can be. Horses offer comfort, confidence, and companionship, helping people (NDIS participant or not) build trust, independence, and joy through every interaction
