In Traditional Chinese Medicine, LI4 (Hegu) is known as the command point for the head and face.

Which means… if it’s happening up here 🧠
this is one of the first points we reach for.

🌿 Think:

✨ brain fog
✨ tension headaches
✨ sinus pressure
✨ heavy, foggy head
✨ jaw tightness

LI4 moves Qi.

And when Qi isn’t moving properly to the head…
you don’t feel clear, focused, or like yourself.

🧠 From a neuro perspective:

This point sits over branches of the radial nerve, sending sensory input back to the brain that can:

• modulate pain pathways
• reduce muscle tension
• increase circulation to the head

Translation?

👉 less pressure
👉 more clarity
👉 nervous system shift out of that “stuck” feeling

✨ In TCM: it clears the head and moves stagnation
✨ In modern terms: it helps your brain and body reset

⚠️ Avoid during pregnancy

Try 30–60 seconds, both sides.

Because sometimes it’s not that you need more coffee…

You need things to move.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, pleasure isn’t random.

It’s physiological.

The Liver system is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi - especially when it comes to emotion, tension, and s€xual energy.

When that flow is disrupted, it doesn’t just show up as mood swings or PMS.

It can show up as:

✨ difficulty reaching orga$m
✨ low or fluctuating libido
✨ irritability or frustration
✨ tension in the body
✨ feeling disconnected from pleasure

🌿 In TCM, this is often described as Liver Qi stagnation - when energy isn’t moving freely.

And when Qi is stuck…

so is sensation.

This isn’t about something being “wrong” with you.

It’s information. It’s diagnostic.

Your body is constantly communicating:
through your cycle, your mood, your tension… and yes, your s*x drive 🧠✨

✨ Supporting flow might look like:

• movement (walking, stretching, shaking it out)
• reducing chronic tension
• acupuncture or acupressure (think LR3, LV14)
• creating space for emotional expression

Because when Qi moves, things soften.
And when things soften… pleasure returns 🤍

Your s*xual health, your cycle, your mood, your nervous system… they’re all part of the same conversation 🤍

This isn’t about “fixing” libido.
It’s about understanding what your body is communicating.

If this resonates, it’s worth exploring with a qualified Dr or TCM practitioner.

Your body isn’t broken.
It’s speaking.

If your shoulders feel tight, heavy, or constantly tense… you’re not just “carrying stress.”
You’re literally storing tension in your fascia, muscles, and nervous system. 💆‍♀️

GB21 (Jianjing) is one of the most powerful points for releasing that tension.

✨ What it is used to help with:

• chronic shoulder + neck tension
• stress headaches
• emotional heaviness
• upper body rigidity
• and pain reduction through nervous system modulation

🧠 Research Insight:

A clinical study showed that stimulation at points like GB21 can be part of effective pain reduction strategies in labour, likely through modulation of sensory and pain pathways in the nervous system (DOI: 10.1016/j.ctim.2021.102683) - meaning this point isn’t just ancient wisdom, it has measurable neurophysiological effects.

✨ How to find it:

Halfway between the base of your neck and the tip of your shoulder - in a little tender hollow at the top of the muscle.

✨ How to use it:

• Press or massage gently
• 30–60 seconds each side
• Exhale as you soften the shoulder
• Great after work, before bed, or when stress spikes

⚠️ Note:

GB21 is not used during pregnancy unless guided by a trained practitioner - it’s powerful and can elicit strong Qi movement.

You don’t need to hold everything up.
This point helps you let it down - in body, nerves, and spirit.
