These exercises don’t take much time and are quite easy to do.
Start with 1 set of 8 to 10 repetitions for each exercise and increase gradually. It’s best to begin with 3 to 4 times a week, then build up as your body gets used to it.

BIRD DOG: Hold for 5 to 10 seconds, return slowly, and switch sides. Do 8 to 10 reps on each side.

CRUNCH: Hold for 5 to 10 seconds. Do 8 to 10 reps.

SIDE PLANK: Hold for 10 to 30 seconds, then rest and switch sides. Hold each side for 10 to 30 seconds, and repeat for 2 to 3 sets per side.

-Don’t rush. Stability matters more than speed.
-You shouldn’t feel pain. These moves should be done with control and focus.
-Make sure you’re on a mat or a soft surface.

These are just a few simple exercises you can try at home.
Here at LivMotus, every patient receives personalised guidance based on their specific needs.

Nothing beats the feeling of slide cupping

☑️Muscle tension relief: releasing tightness in the neck, jaw and shoulders can ease the pressure that often leads to tension headaches.

☑️Postural balance: poor posture or spinal misalignment can contribute to headaches. We work to restore alignment and reduce the physical stress on your body.

☑️Improved circulation: gentle, targeted techniques can enhance blood flow to the head and neck helping to reduce both the frequency and intensity of headaches.

☑️Support for the nervous system: by calming physical tension, osteopathy also helps regulate the body’s stress response, a key factor in managing headache patterns.

Feeling jaw tightness, clicking, or discomfort that travels to your head or neck?
This could be related to TMJ dysfunction and yes, osteopathy may support your recovery.

Our approach gently works through the muscles and joints of the jaw, neck and upper spine to reduce tension, restore natural movement, and ease the pressure you’re holding often without realising it.

If you’re clenching, grinding, or noticing discomfort when speaking or eating, it’s worth taking a closer look.

We don’t just treat the jaw we assess the whole picture to understand what your body is really asking for.
