Are you interested in entering the roller skating world?! this rookie intake is for you! whether you’d like to learn how to skate and/or explore and get involved with roller derby!

✨Why try out?
well roller derby offers you community, a way to express yourself, the camaraderie of teammates, an opportunity to learn new skills and more!

It’s time to lace up those skates, and get ready to roll with the Tweed Valley Rollers 💙❤️

We are holding introductory rookie intake nights on the.. 2nd, 9th and 16th of September. these sessions are non contact and will be lead by our experienced and wonderful skater: Noodle 🍜

✨Details:
- Arrive at Epic skate rink at 20/23 Enterprise Ave Tweed heads south at 6.15pm to be ready on track at 6.30.
- Session lasts for 1 hr (6.30-7.30) however you are welcome to stay for an extra hr to watch the team train and/or talk and get to know the team 💫
- All ages 16+ are welcome (under 18s must have parental permission)
- All genders are welcome
- All skill levels and experience is welcome

✨What you’ll need:
- Skates, if you have none that is no problem! Epic skate rink has their skate hire available (additional fee of $5)
- Socks
- Water
- Safety gear consisting of a helmet, wrist guards, elbow guards and knee pads which will be provided for by the club if you do not have your own 🤗
