We have some really cool amazing stuff for all you school kids out there.
A great time to come shop here for amazing water bottles (brand new being sold for $4), notebooks from the stationery brand Typo, and some eclectic socks and stickers and brand new laptop bags from Typo being sold at amazing prices.

Perfect for stocking up before all you Queenslanders and NSW’ers go back to school.

Quality matters and this is what we are bringing to our op shop business and what’s more _ our revenues support our disability employees who work with us.

Meet Angela Horsley our Team lead here at the op shop.
She brings her vast experience of 25 years working in the Community Services industry in various capacities throughout her career.
3 years on the job here with us and as Angela would say no day is the same yet what she is passionate about is working alongside our team of 25 ADEs (Assisted Disability Employees) with her natural flair and love for interacting with people. She loves supporting everyone and being in a leadership role means she also gets to mentor the team to bring their best to the workplace.

There’s a lot that Angela gets done with her no nonsense professionalism and her cheekiness and We absolutely Love ❤️ her

Meet Robyn Kuhr one of our amazing team of volunteers who has been working here since the last 2 years. Robyn is here in our sorting room working away on a wet Monday and looks at things that come into the op shop deciding what goes onto the shop floor to be sold.
She is really passionate about working at the op shop here and loves the team work that goes into running this place with harmony.
It is volunteers like Robin that form a strong base for what we do and we love her to bits.

Today is a Monday and if you walk n you can meet her and discuss with her what it is you need. She knows a lot about what’s n the shop.

We are here for the community and we love each and every he of you guys who suppr5 us. Together We Make it happen.

And today Tom and I picked up this stunning Balinese vase.
It’s an early 16th century artifact made under the ruling Emperor- nah! Just kidding you all…haha
We don’t know where it’s from or its background - but it does look stunning and will make for an Amazing decorative item in your home- foyer- patio areas.
Come and see it for yourself before it’s gone. Items like this one don’t stay in our shop for too long.

This is Lance Collier who has been working with us for almost 7 years now. He enjoys working at the till and engaging with our many customers on the shop floor. Lance is also our numbers man and is very passionate about crunching numbers for the business. Here he is doing his fav thing on a Monday afternoon with a smile on his face.
Lance loves Cricket when he isn’t working and Australia and India are his favorites.
Come say Hi to Lance and let him know what you need here at the op shop- He pretty much knows what’s in here to be sold and is very friendly to chat with.

Hey Community _ This is Tom Shepherd one of our cool real deal team members who is an integral part of Momentum Recylers Op shop.

He has been working since the last 7 years and is very experienced with discerning the quality to furnitures that get locked up to be resold here at the op shop.
His one favourite thing about working here is that he absolutely loves going out on the truck.
His keen eye for picking quality furnitures and his passion for going to work everyday is clearly evident in this picture.
Nothing like enjoying the work we do that then supports everyone.

John. (left) Tom (right) are two of our most valuable team members here. They work as Assisted Disability Employees (ADEs) and are always ready to jump in with work. They do the heavy lifting and moving of furnitures and white goods that we sell here at the Shop. They work regularly as full time employees and it suppors them to tackle their lives and their mental health. 💜
Friday is always a busy day for us here as we load our truck for Monday morning deliveries and pickups .
It’s also a great day for our community members to come and visit us at the op shop here… Browse Engage with our Shop staff and Enjoy what we have to offer.
