When Carol and her husband needed just a little extra help around the house, they found the perfect support through Momentum Collective’s Aged Care services.

Now, with regular visits from a trusted home care assistant, they can enjoy their home without the stress of heavy chores, and with the peace of mind that comes from consistent, respectful care.

🌟 Good News from Our Communities 🌟

At Momentum Collective, our programs and initiatives are about more than services. They are about people, connection and support when it is needed most.

This week, we were reminded of that impact through Joshie’s story. Like many, she sometimes faces challenges in putting food on the table. She shared that having access to our Community Cart at Casino Neighbourhood Centre , with fresh bread and produce, has been a true lifeline for her family.

Stories like Joshie’s show why our neighbourhood centres and community programs matter. They are places where giving and receiving happen with dignity, kindness and respect.

💛 Give what you can. Take what you need.
Together we are building stronger, more connected communities.

Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder to check in with the people around us.
A simple question, “Are you OK?”, can make a big difference. 🌼

Let’s look out for our friends, family, and colleagues, and be ready to listen with care.

If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available: call Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Together, we can help each other feel less alone. 💛

It’s National Child Protection Week (7–13 September), and this year’s theme is:
“Every conversation matters: Shifting conversation to action.”

Talking about children’s safety is a great start, but real change happens when we take action.

That might look like checking in with a young person, really listening to them, helping a family in need, or simply being a safe, caring adult.

This week is a reminder that every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and supported and we all have a part to play.

Throughout Women’s Health Week, we’re reminded that true wellbeing begins with safety.

Momentum Collective supports women and children experiencing domestic and family violence, offering crisis care, safe housing and specialist programs that bring hope for the future.

These vital services are made possible thanks to the generosity of our community. Your support helps us continue to create safety and stability for those who need it most.

💜 Mealtimes are about more than food, they’re about joy and connection.

Our Community Support Worker, Annie, showed how simple changes in texture modified meals, like using sauces or describing the meal, can bring real happiness to the people we support.
