Hey, suppheads! Just wanted to let you know that I am heading overseas from Sunday 11th May for 4 weeks!

I will be leaving the business in the capable hands of my staff of whom I'm sure many of you have already met before. If you need anything from me specifically, it will have to be put on pause until I return.

All check-ins, programs, and meal plans, i have done my best to be ahead of. However, please only reach out if it's urgent over the next month so that i can enjoy a few weeks driving around europe. (Driving on the opposite side of the road is going to be stressful enough 😜).

New Beginnings

I spent my childhood growing up with the sound of mums voice over the loud speakers at the gym... Les Mills Body Combat was a favourite.. She would learn the tracks, practice it in our lounge room at home, and I would do it with her.

Things do change though and Mum began a 10 year career in disabilities and I joined her for 4 years, ultimately I would take my clients out in the community to exercise, we bush walked, rode bikes, went swimming and often went to the gym to train. So when being fit and active runs in your blood... you'll always find your way back.

I found myself drifting... through my early 20’s, I was immersed in cardio, running endlessly. Gradually I took up boxing classes, then boot camps and obstacle courses. I then found myself with a PT who taught me how lifting weights could be therapeutic and used this to fuel my training until I began competing in bodybuilding shows. After my first 2 experiences on stage, mum joined me for my third. As a team... we went into our 2016 comp prep head on... together.

How many of you can say you've shared this kind of experience? as a mother/daughter it bought us closer together. An experience you really can't replace. The highs and lows of a comp journey, the determination.... and the overwhelming sense of pride in watching each other reach that pinnacle.
