Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) available!

ABPM is a non-invasive method that measures blood pressure at regular intervals over 24 hours while patients go about their daily activities, including sleep. Using a portable device on the arm, it records readings every 30 to 60 minutes, offering a comprehensive view of blood pressure fluctuations.

Traditional monitoring in clinical settings with a sphygmomanometer may miss such variations and be affected by white coat hypertension or masked hypertension. ABPM overcomes these limitations by providing a complete picture of blood pressure throughout the day and night.

BreastScreen WA’s FREE screening mammogram service is coming Yanchep from 14/07/2025 to 22/08/2025 and the mobile clinic will be located at: 81 Yanchep Beach Road

More than 75 per cent of breast cancers occur in women over the age of 50. Research shows that screening is most effective for this age group.

To make your free screening mammogram appointment – book online www.breastscreen.health.wa.gov.au or call 13 20 50. Early detection is your best protection.

As you get older, you are at higher risk of developing bowel cancer.

The Australian Government has lowered the eligible screening age for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program from 50 to 45.

People aged 50-74 will still automatically be sent a free home test kit every two years, and now people aged 45 to 49 can opt into the Program by requesting their first free bowel cancer screening kit.
