A reminder to our community that the ANZAC Day Dawn Service will be held tomorrow at 6:15am, just across the road at the war memorial.

We’ll be thinking of all those who served and sacrificed, and the families who carry their legacy. Wishing everyone a meaningful Anzac Day.

Last week, we had a serious food allergy case present right here in the pharmacy - a scary reminder of how quickly things can escalate :/ I had the Adrenaline ready to go, but very fortunately we didn’t need to use it.

Food allergies can range from mild to life-threatening… even the smallest bite can be dangerous for some people. Knowing the signs could save a life.

➝ Swelling – face, eyes, lips or tongue
➝ Digestive symptoms – cramps, diarrhoea, nausea or vomiting
➝ Breathing difficulty – tight throat, coughing, wheezing, trouble talking
➝ Serious warning signs – pale, weak, dizzy, racing heart

If you’re ever unsure - act fast and seek help immediately.
