๐ Safety is the foundation of nervous system health. Without a felt sense of safety, our bodies and minds remain in hypervigilance or shutdown, limiting presence, learning, and healing.
This week we cultivate an awareness of where we feel secure โ in our posture, our breath, and our environment๐ธ
Supporting the body through grounding postures, regulated breath and an awareness of alignment gives a sense of stability that the nervous system can rely on.
Safety is not passive. It is an active engagement with what feels reliable and supportive. We explore cues of safety in the body: the feet pressing into the floor, the spine stacking naturally, and the breath moving easily ๐ฌ๐
When the body senses support, the parasympathetic nervous system can activate, promoting calm, restoration, and a capacity to learn new regulation skills.
