Never forget…..
Nothing takes God by surprise.
Nothing happens that He is not aware of.
Whatever battle you might be in right now,
God is aware of it.
The enemy thinks he’s got control
- but he hasn’t.
Man thinks he has everything worked out
- but he doesn’t.
God is the One who is Sovereign.
God is the One who is in control.
The battle you are in belongs to the Lord.

It’s easy to praise God when everything is going well.
It is much, much harder to rally our spirit to praise God when we’re angry and confused, heartbroken and disappointed, because life (or the enemy) throws a huge curveball at us.
I get better at it when I intentionally change my perspective from my current circumstances to focusing on who God is and what He does. Then I can begin to thank Him in advance for what He is going to do in my life, and my praise becomes so much more genuine.

I love walking off the beaten track to get to a place I've never been before to appreciate a view I've never seen before.
I love looking at the clouds as they move across the sky.
I absolutely LOVE a good thunderstorm, with the lightening lighting up the outdoors and the thunder booming overhead.
I could sit on the beach watching the ocean for hours.
I love watching and listening to the rain.
I love swimming, I love going for a walk.
I love my family, my husband, my children and our grandchildren.
I love the people God has placed in my life.
And I love God.
Reflecting on everything I love, especially on a tough day, reminds me that my life is not only good but great.
What do you love?
Can I encourage you, especially when you're feeling down, to write a list of everything you love.

Waiting can be so burdensome.
Hang in there.
Stand firm.
God can be trusted.
I mean......just look at His track record!
He ALWAYS comes through for us.
Of course, it may not always look like we imagined.
Regardless of how long we wait,
He is even in the waiting,
and, we can be guaranteed that the wait will be worth it.

Honestly, there is no need to fear, there is no need to worry - but we still do.
I pray you will allow the Lord to strengthen you whenever you are fear-full, so you can fear-less.
I pray you would let Him calm you when you are anxious.
I pray you would ask Him to hold you up, out of the chaos, out of the confusion.
Remember, He has already overcome anything and everything that would ever come against you.
Hallelujah 🙌

Is it even possible to NOT FEAR?
Maybe we should start with trying to fear - LESS.
How do we do that?
Remember…who God is and what He does.
Remember…He is still on His throne.
Reflect….on all He has done in your life thus far.
And….
HAVE A LITTLE FAITH!!!
A little is all you need.

A good question to ask the Lord each day is….
“What do You want me to do for You today?”
But perhaps an even greater question is….
“What do YOU want to do through me today?”
Let’s make it all about Him.

Just recently I was praying about all the mess we’ve walked through in our lives, and I know I’m not alone in this. I believe many have endured messy seasons. As I was praying, God showed me a picture, and throughout the revealing, He answered my many questions.

I saw Jesus in a room, He was sweeping the floor. The floor was covered in mess.
I was curious as to why He was doing this - didn’t He have angels to attend to such menial tasks?
The answer dropped in my spirit, Jesus desires to get into the middle of our dirt and disorder and longs to help us straighten up our lives.
For I knew the room represented our everyday life, and the mess He was cleaning up was the turmoil we have gone through.
I looked at the mess that Jesus was gathering into a pile. There were hundreds of pieces of paper, all ripped and torn (not neatly cut) and there was one word written on each small sheet, but the word varied from ‘Hurt’, ‘Pain,’ ‘Torment’, ‘Betrayal’, ‘Rejection’, ‘Grief’, ‘Sadness’, ‘Lies’, ‘Accusation’, ‘Depression’, ‘Loneliness’, ‘Sickness’, ‘Failure’…. and the list went on.
I asked Jesus, “What will You do with all this mess You’re sweeping up?”
“All this (pointing at the pile), goes straight into the fire,” He responded with a satisfied sound in His voice.
After every single wounded word had been collected, and without a single sheet being left behind, the pile was completely discarded, and I mean completely, without a trace that the mess ever existed.
Jesus then got down on His knees, and with the whitest, cleanest cloth, He began soaking up wet patches which were sporadically splatted on the floor around the room.
As He mopped, He then squeezed the cloth into a very special clear glass vessel.
I wondered at what He was doing, and as if He had read my thoughts, He explained to me, “This jar now contains the precious tears of My dear children, shed from all the mess they walked through. These tears I collect and treasure. They will not be discarded or forgotten.”
The vision then ended.

I believe Jesus is right now cleaning up the mess in our lives and He is bringing healing.
In the vision He was preparing the room to be refurnished, re-equipped and redecorated. And He is doing the same in us.
He is preparing us, emptying us of our mess so we can be re-equipped, re-furnished, re-stored, filled anew, blessed, ready and prepared for all the good that results from what the enemy intended for evil.
Be excited!

“Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away… And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you…’ Ezekiel 36:25,26

“You’ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You’ve stored my many tears in your bottle—not one will be lost. For they are all recorded in your book of remembrance.”

I pray that as you turn your head to face the Lord, instead of your worries, you will take a deep breath and breathe in His peace, the peace that comes with His very presence who is with you, the kind of peace you can’t explain and can’t understand why you feel it, apart from, “It must be God.”
Lord, may each person reading this encounter your peace like never before, in Jesus’ name.

Often when I go for a walk I have my head down watching where I’m going so I don’t trip over or fall down.
It’s unnatural for me to look up instead of looking down when I’m taking a stroll.
But that’s the thing - WHEN WE’RE DESIRING TO WALK A SUPERNATURAL LIFE, WE CAN’T DO WHAT COMES NATURALLY.
In every decision you make
In every action you take
In every thing, every day
Take on the supernatural pose -
Keep your head up
Keep looking up
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
He won’t fail to lead you.

When you find yourself at a point where you need to make a decision, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a major decision or a very important decision, you are just at a point where you’re really not sure what to do.
When we find ourselves in a dilemma like this, we often deliberate on what we’ve seen others do in the same situation, and that’s a good way to learn. But…
Do we do what we’ve learned from our father (or from others around us) or do we do what we learn, receive and see our Father in heaven do (John 8:38)?
Man’s wisdom is limited. God’s wisdom is abounding.
Can I encourage you, don’t look only to what you know, with your limited head knowledge, and what you’ve seen done before.
God LOVES to do a NEW thing.
Look to Him for every decision you need to make, to do things in a new way and His way.

“Yet the truths I speak I’ve seen and received in my Father’s presence. But you are doing what you’ve learned from your father!” ‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭38‬ ‭TPT‬‬
