Founded in 2015 by Annette Mace, Set Free To Soar is an organisation that combines public speaking engagements and Life Coaching, to see people set free from whatever is currently holding them down - mental, physical, spiritual, emotional... Annette's heart is set on seeing people soar in the freedom of God's Love! Annette draws wisdom and practicality from her own personal experience with debilitating health issues that lasted over five years. Sharing her experiences of the darkness of depression and the agony of chronic illness, Annette shines the light on the infinite possibilities of our Heavenly Father and how tough times are not the end, but in fact the beginning of a glorious life of strength and joy! The Lord said, “I SET CHALLENGES BEFORE YOU, TO BE AN EXAMPLE AND TO PREPARE THE WAY FOR THOSE WHO FOLLOW YOU.”
‘So take a new grip with your tired hands, stand firm on your shaky legs, and mark out a straight, smooth path for your feet so that those who follow you, though weak and lame, will not fall and hurt themselves but become strong.’ (Hebrews 12:12,13 TLB)
And I heard some leaders mumble, “Well, that’s great for those who I lead through the similar track to what I have travelled, But what about me? Who goes before me to show me the way?”
He replied, “I DO!”

Do you have anyone in your life who would walk over hot coals to get to you?
DOES ANYONE LOVE YOU THAT MUCH?
The answer is, YES!
I know someone who would take a beating for you.
Someone who would bare lash after lash upon their back - for you, because they love that much.
I know a man who would allow nails to be hammered into his hands and feet, and his body pierced with a spear - for you!
This man is Jesus, and He suffered everything for you and for your sin, so you wouldn’t receive any punishment at all.
Because…
HE LOVES YOU.
HE LOVES YOU.
HE LOVES YOU.
Right now, wherever you are,
just receive it.
Open your heart to it.
Let His love for you fill all the empty and hurt places.

Many people will not understand your pain – Jesus does!
It’s comforting to know that there is nothing that you will ever go through that Jesus hasn’t experienced before.
He has already suffered everything we have ever had to undergo—past, present, or future.

Life might be hard right now,
But remember…. just because life is tough, please don’t believe the lie that God couldn’t possibly be with you in this mess.
There is a difference between what is true and truth.
It is TRUE that what you’re experiencing is extremely rough,
But the TRUTH is He will never leave you. (Hebrews 13:5)
God is with you even in this.

I’ve been doing a lot of things lately in obedience to what I believe the Lord is instructing me to do, with no idea why, and with no physical results.
Is it the same for you?
Can I encourage to keep obeying.
Keep following His instructions.
Keep letting the Lord dunk you in the river Jordan like Naaman to bring healing.
Keep shooting the arrows out (not half heartedly) but with great gusto and enthusiasm that you will do everything God asks you to do because you love Him and there’s nothing you would rather be doing except obeying your Saviour.
It may not make sense now - but it will one day.
You might not be seeing the effects of your obedience in this moment - but just know nothing for the Lord is in vain.

Tell your soul to hope on God.
Start by…..
Declaring who God is and what He does.
Then proclaim His promises to you, and
Let your hope rise.
INSTRUCT your hope to rise.
Get your boss boots on and don’t settle for anything less than hoping in the Lord.

I saw a picture of a crowd of people who had gathered to get even just a glimpse of Jesus in the street.
Jesus approached the group, standing before them.
I could sense that some amongst the group were hoping…
“Please look at me.
Please notice me.
Please touch my life and answer my prayers”
I then noticed those in sheer desperation, who had pushed to the front and fallen to their knees begging for Jesus to touch them and bring breakthrough, transformation and healing in their lives.
Jesus raised His hand and spoke,
“My children, you don’t need to hope that I see you, for I am the One who has always seen you and who sees you now. For I am the One who has chosen you before you even knew Me. Now, come out from the crowd, and stand with Me. For I have called you to walk with Me and be with Me. I have chosen you. You are My child. Don’t stand back begging. Come forward and be with Me and simply receive.”
I then saw Jesus breathe His breath of life over each of His children who were desperately in need. It came like a breeze, but it didn’t just blow and pass them by or merely hover over them and move on. It stayed. And it saturated them. Filled them. It was covering them outwardly and filling them inwardly.

When Jesus walked the earth there were crowds who gathered to see Him and there were followers who walked beside Him.
Jesus is calling you out from the crowd to walk with Him.
So, come. Come out from the crowd and receive. He wants to bring you back to life.

And…btw, you don’t go back to crowd. At Jesus’ side is where you stay.
Walking with Him is where you are meant to be.

When the unexpected explodes in our lives…
We may see it as the end of the world as we know it.
But, it just might be the beginning of a whole new world instead.
Everything will fall into place when our heartfelt prayer is….
“How do I honour You in this, God?”

If you feel like you are in a waiting season.
Remember……
God is in control.
Nothing that has happened in your life has gone unnoticed by Him.
He has heard every prayer you’ve prayed and
He is answering.
He is orchestrating His plan for you and His plan is working perfectly.
You will be blessed as you wait upon Him (Ps 27:14)

Do you believe that God can make something beautiful out of you?
No?
Do you think you’re too broken?
Too far gone?
Do you think there’s no chance God could do anything with you, or perhaps that He would He even want to.
Well, it’s a good thing He’s a God of miracles isn’t it?
There is nothing impossible for Him, and
There is no one, who is too broken that He can’t put back together and for Him to turn you into a child of God even more beautiful than you were before the breaking.
And I want you to know…. He wants to.
It’s who He is and it’s what He is so good at.

In prayer this morning I saw two children approach the Father with their hurts.
The two children stood side by side before their Heavenly Father who leaned forward to give each of them His undivided attention.
The first child lifted their right hand, indicating how they had hurt their finger. The Father took the hurt finger and wrapped it up within both of His hands while listening to His child share how they hurt it.
He then released the child’s hand and I watched as the child moved their finger this way and that, elated that it was now healed.
Then the Father turned His face toward the second child, and the child broke down in tears, sobbing as they shared how their heart hurt.
I watched the Father embrace His child, He wrapped them up within His healing arms. And while this comforting and healing hug was taking place, the child with the healed finger laid their hands on their dear friend, praying.
The Lord wants you to know He is just as concerned with His children’s ‘little’ issues as well as the ‘big’.
You might think what you’re going through is not important enough to go before the Father - but if it concerns you, then He wants to heal you of it.
You might think what you’re going through is too big that not even God can fix it - but He can, and He wants to.
And if you have received healing, breakthrough, been rescued and delivered by your Heavenly Father, go and bless someone else who is struggling.
