I’ve been back and forth trying to decide which clay to use for Sunday’s yoga and pottery nested bowls, my latest clay obsession is the mahogany so that wins! I’ve got some great glaze colour combos with this- very excited!

My last workshop was with a group of lovely locals in a mental health recovery program and we made an item to represent some activities and places that help us shift into positive wellbeing. I have loved to see the images of nature, reading, surfing etc come out of the kiln. What lovely little reminders to soak up the good stuff!

It’s wet and windy so a perfect day to prepare for the yoga and pottery mug making day coming up in 2 weeks! Drying some of the rich mahogany clay for making slip, creating another demo mug so there will be a variety of sizes on offer to make (and just because it’s fun!) and getting excited! There’s only one ticket left for Sunday September 15! If you’re keen you can get it here! https://events.humanitix.com/yoga-and-pottery-september
