It’s Shark Dive time again.

This Friday, two of our determined divers will dive in the shark tank at the Sealife Sydney Aquarium.

Both divers have worked hard in their therapy. One lives with paraplegia. The other has an acquired brain injury. They train with focus and courage every week. This dive marks a major step in their journey.

For some, open water diving is the goal. For these two, it may not be possible right now. That is what makes this experience so significant. In a safe, controlled environment, they will enter the water and come face to face with the ocean’s most powerful creatures, including the grey nurse sharks, a huge bull ray , wobbegongs and so much more.

We are so grateful to the Sydney Aquarium team for making this possible. It is a powerful moment for each diver - and a reminder of what access, support, and belief can make possible.

Huge thanks to -white-productions for this awesome video he created from our very first dive with the sharks.

SCUBA WARRIORS did it again today - diving with a purpose (not a porpoise🐬) and cleaning up the local waterways with our fabulous friends Sir Jono and Simon at Clean4shore Another 340kgs of rubbish which pushes our total to nearly 9 ton of rubbish we’ve removed from Brisbane Waters.

Thank you Bronte Pollard(ex Navy) and Carl Van Aken(Firey) for your hard work and Dave & Kenny-Boy Davison for keeping us safe and supported on deck. What a fabulous day.

Today at Scuba Gym we trained with Bailey, a 16 year old living with muscular dystrophy and scoliosis.

On land, standing is impossible without support. Underwater, her body had space. The weightless environment reduced load through her little spine and hips. She stood tall. She walked with control. She moved with freedom.

Bailey jumped, played scuba tennis, passed the watermelon ball, and explored the pool with steady finning. She found the shark and claimed the space as her own. In the water, she was not defined by diagnosis. She was strong, capable, and focused.

For people living with muscular dystrophy and scoliosis, the pool offers something rare - reduced gravity, upright posture without compression, and the chance to practice walking patterns in a safe setting. It is not about pushing limits. It is about creating conditions where the body can move well.

If you or someone you care for lives with MD or scoliosis, and standing or walking on land feels limited, come and experience the weightless dimension with us. Just let go, dive in and stand up. Move freely. Yes You Can and we'd love to help.

Thank you to our awesome team who make this possible.

For more than 50 years, Toni has lived with a deep fear of water. Putting her head underwater was impossible. The anxiety was real and it shaped her choices.

For nearly 30 years, Toni also lived with undiagnosed psoriatic arthritis. Over time, it took away movement and limited how she could exercise. She wanted to move again. She wanted her body to work with her, not against her. But the fear stayed.

Today, something shifted.

Toni let go of the pool edge. She let go of control. And in doing that, she let go of a fear that once held her still. It was not dramatic. It was quiet, brave, and deeply human.

Today, Toni changed her life.

If you are carrying fear in your body, if water feels like a barrier instead of a place of support, reach out. Change does not come from force. It comes from trust, safety, and one small step at a time.

What a huge day for Toni.

Thank you, Mon and Ken, for your care, presence, and support in making another powerful day underwater possible.
