Dr Rupert Bennett is a dedicated, patient‑focused GP who values building strong relationships with the people he cares for. Brisbane‑born, he completed a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Queensland.

He has worked across both tertiary and rural hospitals throughout Queensland, including the Princess Alexandra Hospital, QEII Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. His clinical experience spans general medicine, emergency, paediatrics, geriatrics, surgery, and rehabilitation medicine before transitioning into General Practice.

Outside of work, Dr Rupert enjoys travelling, hiking, watching sport, and relaxing with good coffee and a good book.

We have been so blessed to have Dr Lok Tung Lee with us these past few years at Watersprings Health Centre. Like a little ray of sunshine she has brightened our days and made working together so easy. Plenty of tears saying goodbye today and we wish her nothing but the best for her new adventures in life and love ahead ❤️ Press play 💜

Power has been restored!!! A huge thank you to all the Energex workers and their families getting it sorted for us these last couple of days.

Phones will open as usual from 8am tomorrow.

We currently have a complete power outage at Watersprings Health Centre and surrounding areas.

This means we have no phones, computers or air conditioning. For this reason we are not able to do any medical consultations at this time. If you are due for an appointment today please do not come in until you know we have power restored.

We will keep you updated on this page!

For all emergencies please call Qld Ambulance on 000. For urgent medical needs please call 13Health or go to Eight Mile Plains Satellite Hospital.
