Remembering everything you need to bring can feel overwhelming. If you're booked for an upcoming procedure with us, this list might help you feel prepared.
On the day, bring with you:
Photo ID
Medicare and/or Private Health Insurance details
Appropriate underwear and Sanitary pads
Comfy clothes
Some distractions for while you are waiting such as music and headphones, a book or a magazine.

Thinking about an abortion? You have options.

If you are pregnant and considering an abortion, it is important to understand the options available and to choose what feels right for you.

There are two main options for termination of pregnancy (abortion):

Medical Abortion:
A series of tablets taken to end an early pregnancy, up to 9 weeks. This happens in the comfort and privacy of your home and can be similar to a miscarriage.

Surgical Abortion:
A short procedure performed in our Day Hospital, where suction is used to gently empty the uterus. The procedure usually takes between 5 - 10 minutes. It is available for anyone between 6 - 14 weeks pregnant.

Both options are safe, effective and legal.
