together for our children | our health | our homes | our community | our planet Yours in loving touch Sharelle

I am so delighted to be facilitating Infant Massage classes to parents/caregivers. With experience over 40 yrs Chiropractic Assistant, Massage Therapist, Healthcare co-ordinator and member of IMA (Infant Massage Australia)
A Grandmother and mother of 3 I have experienced first hand the wonderful benefits of infant massage myself. I can honestly say it helped me gain more confidence and ability to soothe the crying time, massaging my own children definitely made such a difference to settle and regulate good sleep patterns very early. The benefits of infant massage have been enjoyed in other cultures for many centuries, more recently Western parents are learning these massage techniques to help with their baby's development, where they can wholeheartedly enjoy the experience with gift of loving touch. Learning Infant Massage is made easy with a certified Instructor to guide you through strokes carefully using simple techniques of Massage, Reflexology, Yoga stretches, Nursery Rhymes vocal sounds which reinforce feelings of trust and respect with your baby. Brilliant for Fathers as they have an important role from beginning – Use of their gentleness and nurturing self to build their bond with newborn. I look forward to meeting and sharing with you how to create a more calm and nurturing environment by practicing massage with your infant/ and children . Together we’ll discover your ability being happier more present on a regular basis as you navigate the new Mum and newborn journey
Smaller groups are encouraged together meeting like-minded parents or private 1 on 1 sessions can be tailored to meet your needs. Further information and event dates and venues, Contact Sharelle via this page.

Thanks to The Essential Midwife posting this combination of homemade skincare using essential oils to nourish women’s body post partum.

(I don’t say - stretch marks) rather the impressed expression of the birth journey 🙌

Stretch Marks (Tummy Magic)

RECIPE:
5 Copaiba
5 Yarrow/pom
4 Sandalwood
4 Cedarwood
4 Frankincense
3 Myrrh

Put in a 10 mL roller bottle and fill to top with FCO.

This blend is amazing at supporting a growing belly in pregnancy and keeping stretch marks to a minimum.

Simply roll on tummy morning and night, may use extra fractionated coconut oil for easier coverage.

TIP: The shortcut for this blend is 25 Immortelle then fill to top with Yarrow/pom serum or fractionated coconut oil.
