🌿 Local Maker Spotlight: Michael’s Market Stall 🌿
If you’ve visited the Candelo Markets or the Bemboka Community Hub monthly event, chances are you’ve seen Michael’s fantastic stall! Michael sells a beautiful range of home‑made produce including pickles, jams, and sauces, alongside recycled wooden crafts lovingly handmade by himself. You’ll also find hand‑sown seedlings and plants, perfect for home gardeners.
Last weekend, Michael took his stall to the Bemboka Show, where it proved to be extremely popular with visitors – a wonderful showcase of local creativity, sustainability, and quality produce.
Be sure to stop by next time you see Michael at the markets and support this great local business! 🌱🫙🪵

Here’s a snap of Amber and Michele proudly completing our puzzle! Over the past few weeks, they’ve worked steadily on it with help from other clients.
This morning they came in determined to finish it — with just half an hour to go, they focused in, worked together, and placed the final piece just in time!

Recently, Ken took part in the Cobargo Folk Festival Street Busking Competition, “It Takes a Village” — and what a great experience it was!
Ken performed across three time slots, receiving some wonderful feedback from the crowd. He even had a few friends drop by to show their support, adding to the great vibe on the day.

Josh and Oscar finished their Good Luck Boxes recently and they were so proud of what they created! They had a fantastic time learning new skills - making things from old wood, painting, and rolling and shaping clay into whatever they imagined.
So much creativity, teamwork, and fun all in one project. Well done, Josh and Oscar! 👏😊

Every Tuesday our crew gets together in the kitchen to learn new skills, get hands‑on, and have some fun! This week Jack scooped out and mashed his avocado, Mathew took charge of stirring the meat, and Josh jumped in to help with the washing up. Teamwork at its best! 🙌

What an unforgettable day! 💚💛
The Canberra Raiders had a training session in Batemans Bay this week, and all Jack wanted was to meet Ricky Stuart. He ended up crying tears of happiness when he not only met Ricky - his absolute favourite person - but also half the team!
To top it off, Jack is now the proud owner of a footy boot signed by the whole team. 🏉💚
Such an incredible day out and memories he’ll treasure forever!
