Hi, I’m Claud! The guest speaker on all things skincare, and skin love! I’ve been working in the natural skincare world for the last 3 years and love educating others on everything I’ve learnt.
I’m so passionate about the world of natural, those easy and attainable switches you can make in your skincare regime that are not only good for your skin, but our environment!

Today I’ll share some of my top tips on looking after your skin, and on Sunday I’ll be answering all your skincare questions – stay tuned!

💫Keep your skin hydrated from the inside & outside
~ It’s probably the oldest phrase in the book, but you need to drink more water! Drinking water is so important. Also, ensure you are using a moisturiser that will help lock in your natural hydration throughout the day and evening. A more hydrated complexion leads to a happy, healthy, glowing complexion.

💫 Wear a daily SPF, and apply enough!
~ Sun damage is huge and also something that we won’t see appear until we’re older – hello nasty surprise sun spots. I recommend to wear a natural SPF with a minimum protection of 30+ I’d recommend applying your SPF before you apply your make-up, as you need to apply around 20c worth to be fully protected. Some like to use a combination foundation that contains SPF, but you most likely won’t be applying enough to fully protect your skin.

💫Exfoliate your skin, only 1-2 times per week!
~ Over exfoliating your skin can cause damage so only use sparingly and apply gently in a circular motion. For a natural exfoliation, find a scrub that uses walnut shell, or a botanical enzyme like pineapple instead of plastic micro beads.

💫My favourite product, Rosehip Oil!
~ I lather my skin in a beautiful Certified Organic Rosehip Oil AM + PM! If you’re nervous to start using an oil, apply 1-2 drops into your evening moisturiser! Rosehip Oil is super rich in antioxidants and has even been used in burn wards to help the skin heal after damage.

Thank you for being here 🥰

Waking Wellness is my holistic and clinical nutrition business. It grew from my old account Waking and Baking which was a fun account where I posted daily recipes. It truely was my documentation of my cooking journey from age 18-26.

In 2021, I launched Waking Wellness, after completing a Bachelor of Nutritional Medicine. It is here I now offer one on one nutrition consultations, online as well as face to face. My clinic location is in the Adelaide Hills, in the town of Hahndorf.

I feel so lucky every time I get to work with someone to relieve their symptoms and reach their health goals and potentials. After going through many health problems myself, I want to be able to help, educate and empower others to overcome these challenges just as I have.
