There are three types of incontinence:
💡Stress
💡Urge
💡Mixed

Stress incontinence is when there is exerted pressure on the bladder causing leakage. This can be caused by coughing, laughing, sneezing or exercising. Urge incontinence is the sudden, intense urge to urinate frequently. Finally, mixed incontinence is a combination of both stress and urge incontinence.

During session on the Emsella Chair it will use the HIFEM procedure, that utilises electromagnetic energy, at high frequency, to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles non-invasively. This type of stimulation contracts similarly to when you perform kegel exercises.

Many women start to experience incontinence after giving birth. We see many women joking about how they have to cross their legs to sneeze. While we love that we're able to talk and laugh about these things, we're so grateful to be able to help ladies be worry free when they sneeze.

But how long after giving birth are women able to start our treatment on the Emsella Chair?

We recommend that our lovely new mums should wait 3 months after giving birth via C-Section and 10 weeks after a natural chilbirth. However, this may vary depending on your personal situation.
