Sometimes you are just born into it - horses I mean.

This is an uncle of mine Bob Birthisel who drove his last winner at age 79 on April 7 in 2003, when Cranky Jack won the Kilmore Veterinary Practice Pace.
His career highlights included winning the 1966 V L Dullard Trotters Cup with Panther’s Flight and then claiming the same crown in 1974 with Stormy Meadow.

His trophy case also featured the 14th Central Victorian Trotting Championship Final, which he won in 1997 with Watchmewin.

Mr Birthisel was considered a leader among participants, and in 1968 was installed as co-vice-president, along with Neville Gath, on the first Trotting Trainers and Drivers Association of Victoria board. Within two months the association had 300 financial members.
Bob Birthisel was considered a leader among participants, and in 1968 was installed as co-vice-president, along with Neville Gath, on the first Trotting Trainers and Drivers Association of Victoria board.
He was also a past-president of the Bendigo Owners/trainers/divers association.

He passed at the age of 92.
The photo of the horse is Stormy Day who knew as a child but one of the better horse's he trained and drove - Stormy would have to be 8- 9 in this photo.

I talk a lot about the horse but let's focus on the dogs which we do also.
Similar to the horses if you are worried about whether your dog is too skinny - look at the bony land marks.
These are different from lack of muscle and you need to be aware of this.
