How proud are we of our 'Matron' Jo 😀? So Proud! She has just been awarded the Ron Macnamara Scholarship to support her Nurse Practitioners degree with QUT (Queensland University of Technology). This means she will be able to provide additional nursing services to all our Rural Fit friends, in addition to those living with Parkinsons.

It's the Tuesday of the Tamworth Country Music Festival so that means a line dancing lesson from our terrific friends at the Locomotive Line Dancing Club, entertainment from the talented Wendy Wood and a morning tea to catch up and enjoy each others company.
A special shout out to our Commander of Coffee / Top Dog of Tea, Lawson, who donated a morning of his school holidays to help out.

Sending a shout out to our inspiring group of trekkers who are Stepping Up with Shake It Up this week along with our Community Fundraising and Events Manager Isobel, to trek the Great Ocean Walk, led by Park Trek Walking Holidays. This group of passionate fundraisers are taking on the trip of a lifetime to challenge themselves and enjoy breathtaking views, while supporting Parkinson's research. Together they have already raised an astounding $46,000 for Shake It Up!
